Vickie Robinson writes: It’s funny how news can change our lives in an instant. There is always joy, sadness, and uncertainty in the news. The news of my coworker’s new role at a new congregation in Colorado brought to mind feelings of joy and sadness. The more I wrestled with my feeling of sadness, the more I remembered all the times this coworker took me under his wings during my times of stress in my new position as an office administrator that I did not think would ever improve. He always let me know that the achievement of working on the weekly church bulletins would get easier with time and that if I didn’t understand something, it wasn’t the end of the world, and he was always there for me. My once sad news has now turned into news of joy because I now realize what an honor and blessing it has been for me to work alongside such a phenomenal and talented colleague and friend as Andrew Peters. Andy & Christine Peters write:   Back in 2006 we adopted a tiny kitten. Weighing only 2 pounds he had a personality much larger than his body. He jumped and scampered around a small shop that had adoptable cats and kittens from the local humane society. He captured my heart and that afternoon he joined our family. He is now 15 years old and although he is showing his age, he has never lost his joyful exuberance and his zest for life. Everything he does is done with his full body, heart and soul. Whether it is playing with a toy, chasing dust cloths around as we clean the house, eating his food with more gusto than neatness, or taking a long snooze on our radiators on a cold winter day, he does everything with a purpose and sense of gratitude. On Friday the spotlight fell on 2nd Pres's  Leah Thorsen , who has been at the Post for 15 years and currently works as a business reporter.
